The band's current logo

65daysofstatic has worked tiredlessly to produce noise since 2001.

The band hails from Sheffield, in the United Kingdom. Over the two decades that marked the band's history, there has been many significant shifts and variety in the categorization of their sound. While initially labelled as a post-rock band[1][2][3], they have strived to escape any determined genre to carve their own unique signature, now generally considered as both experimental and electronic, while still cleverly incorporating more traditional rock instruments. The band also managed to create a wide variety of songs in odd time signatures throughout their various efforts.

The band's current project is the creation of infinite noise, by building and deconstructing musical samples of their making through carefully developed algorithms. This is Wreckage Systems.
