The catchphrase originates back to the streaming of 65daysofstatic's 12 releases entitled "A Year Of Wreckage". Since then, the expression "this one is a banger" is essential to 65kids terminology.

The term was meant both as a reference to the dance inducing properties of many of the songs found therein and the parting word of legendary space cowboy Spike Spiegel.

As of 2021, fans of the band are still waiting for a release bearing these four letters.
