History[]
This project was part of the Glasgow Film Festival's project to screen the classic 1972 "Silent Running" movie with a new alternate soundtrack. Following a live performance of the score, the band used crowd funding to allow a studio recording and international release.[1]
It was recorded and mixed to tape (and back again) by Dave Sanderson and Alan Smyth at 2Fly Studios in Sheffield. It was mixed by Alan Smyth and Dave Sanderson, then mastered by Paul Gold at Salt Mastering. It was self-produced by the band.
Album Art[]
Art direction for this album was part of the band's long-running collaboration with Caspar Newbolt. Apparently, it was created amidst a hurricane.[2]
